Keep FE in the model name
Samsung’s wired DeX list includes the S8, S9 and S10 families. It explicitly excludes S9 FE and S10 FE models from HDMI output. Samsung: DeX devices and wired connections
Confirm the workspace
For a supported tablet, use the documented USB-C-to-HDMI route and applicable DeX controls. Seeing mirrored content is not the same as confirming your intended workspace.
If the picture or workspace is wrong
Keep the monitor input and cable fixed while checking tablet settings. Samsung’s current troubleshooting includes mode-specific checks; follow the version matching your tablet software. Samsung: external DeX display troubleshooting
Before adding a dock
Record the exact tablet, monitor mode, power path and peripherals. A laptop dock specification does not establish that combined Android setup. Use the checker to keep the missing requirements visible.
