Identify Laptop or Pro, then the processor

Start with a direct display

Microsoft’s direct-connection tables cover one 4K60 screen on these models; their stated capability remains conditional on the cable or adapter used. Use a simple connection sequence

  1. Select the USB4 USB-C port and an identified monitor input.
  2. Use a video-capable cable or adapter rated for the chosen mode.
  3. Choose Extend in Windows and verify the screen.
  4. Compare the dock using that same working display.

Check software before a software dock

If an output requires a driver, verify the exact ARM version and workplace permission. Our checker does not infer ARM compatibility from an Intel Windows laptop result. Keep native USB4 output as a separate comparison.
