Find the number that resolves similar names

A marketing name may cover more than one processor or configuration. Copy the model and machine type from system information or the device label; avoid posting a serial number. Our Lenovo directory retains the machine types from the source. We group type codes only where the model name and every included dock condition agree.

Compare the whole dock part number

Read power and workplace exceptions

Some listed combinations require the laptop’s own charger for adequate or rapid charging. Others warn that charging can be slow. Network boot, waking a sleeping computer, and keeping its network identity are separate capabilities. Each option translates the source code into a readable condition and retains the worksheet and cell reference.

What an empty result means

We include only the reviewed configurations and explicit positive entries. A blank cell or missing configuration is unconfirmed here; it is not a negative compatibility verdict. An older model may be documented in Lenovo’s archived workbook. Follow the current matrix and archives when your model is absent.

Build the actual screen arrangement

1. Match your machine type and the dock part number.
2. Read the charging condition before deciding on a one-cable desk.
3. List the monitor models, inputs, resolution and refresh rate.
4. Check the dock’s display table for those outputs operating together.
5. Confirm firmware and workplace features with your IT administrator if relevant.
