Check the processor suffix
Read the complete processor model in Windows device information. If you cannot distinguish U/H from V, leave the model unconfirmed rather than borrowing the larger display count.
Read display count and mode together
Lenovo’s specification distinguishes the two processor branches. It also lists HDMI up to 4K60 and Thunderbolt up to 8K60, with extra display-pipe limitations for 8K. Start with the simplest route
- Choose the matching processor branch in the directory.
- For one screen, use a documented Thunderbolt USB-C video port and a mode-rated cable.
- Select Extend in Windows and verify the requested picture mode.
- For more screens, compare the dock’s combined-output table with the host limit.
Keep other T14 evidence in its scope
The T14 Gen 5 institutional dock reference does not identify this Gen 6 processor arrangement. The checker therefore keeps those exact dock combinations open. Closing the built-in screen is not an automatic promise of an additional supported output.
