G10 is part of the model

Why the G6 guide is different

Our older G6 page cites a specific institutional WD19S deployment. That evidence is scoped to its listed equipment. It should not turn a G10 and WD19S pairing into an automatic approval, even when both have suitable-looking ports.

Build a one-screen baseline

  1. Read G10 on the device information or label.
  2. Match the computer’s video output to an identified monitor input.
  3. Check one screen at the intended resolution and refresh rate.
  4. Record the cable, port and power supply used.
  5. Introduce the dock and compare the same screen before adding others.

When a display works but a dock feature fails

Separate display output, charging, wake controls, Ethernet and management functions. A cross-brand setup may have different support for each. Keep the current working route while identifying the one requirement that remains unconfirmed.
