A listing may be incomplete
When evaluating a used dock, check whether the power supply and host cable are included. Do not choose the 180 W compatibility result if the supplied configuration is the 130 W version. Ask the seller to identify the actual supply before relying on the bundle description.
Read power-related exceptions
A power-related unsupported mark is not permission to assume the complete dock works after adding a charger. Keep the source’s status visible, read its explanation, and confirm the desired configuration with the manufacturer.
Check a desk that charges slowly
- Record the laptop’s original charger rating.
- Read the dock power supply label.
- Check the correct configuration in the model table.
- Try the laptop’s supported charger separately and compare charging under the same workload.
- Use the charging troubleshooting guide if the behavior remains unexplained.
