When Element can be enough
It can be worth investigating when the laptop’s power requirement fits, the screens already accept suitable USB-C video connections, and its accessory ports cover your needs. If two adapters and a separate charger are required, compare that complete desk with the larger dock before deciding.
When TS4 is worth investigating
Start from a specific missing connection or charging requirement. Confirm the exact host’s support and output arrangement, especially when sharing across Mac and Windows systems. This guide does not treat a newer Mac chip as an automatic exact-pair test.
Check what comes with the actual unit
- Confirm the exact hub or dock model, power supply and computer cable.
- List both screen paths, including directional adapters.
- Compare required laptop power with delivered host power.
- Test the entire arrangement before retiring a working setup.
