The suffix matters
B5402CBA, B5402CVA and B5402FBA are separate entries. Check the full code, including the final letters. Choose the reason for changing docks

Build a cable list you can check
- Write down the B5 code and every screen’s input, resolution and refresh rate.
- Identify the dock’s computer connection before attaching video cables.
- For DC500, distinguish the two HDMI paths from downstream Thunderbolt video.
- Test one screen, then your combined arrangement, and check charging under normal use.
A Thunderbolt-labelled port establishes a useful starting point, not a complete wiring plan for all possible screens.
When to ask for confirmation
Ask the manufacturer about the exact host, dock, OS and requested modes if the result says “Confirm screen support.” Include the output sockets you intend to use. Do not send a serial number through the public finder. Compare SimPro 2 and DC500 for the main differences.
