Choose around the screens you own

TS4 and TBT4-UDZ are native-video connections to investigate from the separate host and dock specifications. TS4 uses DisplayPort and downstream Thunderbolt for the illustrated two-screen route; TBT4-UDZ has HDMI/DisplayPort groups. Neither source establishes the exact TravelMate’s combined picture modes here. The port and cable illustration explains those physical routes without transferring a Swift-specific compatibility claim.

Charging and workplace features are separate

For the reviewed AMD SKU, a dock rated above 65 W does not establish that the laptop accepts more than its listed USB-C input. For the Intel SKU, confirm the input rating before treating a dock as its sole charger. Ethernet, wake from sleep and dock power-button behavior require their own checks; sharing the Acer brand is not a substitute for that evidence.

A practical office check

  1. Confirm the complete part number and the installed operating system. These entries assume the reviewed Windows configuration.
  2. Power the dock and connect it with the specified host cable. Test one monitor before attaching other peripherals.
  3. Add the second monitor and record both active modes.
  4. Test keyboard, mouse, Ethernet and a normal sleep/wake cycle. Start the computer using its own button if a dock button does not work.
  5. For a managed computer, ask IT about required firmware, peripheral drivers and DisplayLink permission before choosing a software-display dock.

When a different guide is needed

TMP414-53-G2, other TravelMate P4 sizes and TravelMate P2/P6 are separate hardware questions. A regional SKU that lacks the reviewed video feature should stay unresolved until its own documentation is checked.
