Galaxy Tab S10 FE docks: no HDMI or Wireless DeX output

Which dock options should you consider?

For Galaxy Tab S10 FE, do not buy an HDMI dock or USB-C video adapter for external-screen DeX: Samsung explicitly excludes the FE series from HDMI output and Wireless DeX. Use DeX on the tablet screen, with the exact Samsung Book Cover Keyboard or Keyboard Slim if a laptop-like desk is useful, or pair a supported USB/Bluetooth keyboard and mouse directly. Samsung's separate Second Screen feature can make the tablet a display for a compatible Windows PC, but it runs in the opposite direction and does not send the tablet to a monitor. DeX for PC is also unavailable on the Tab S10 FE series running One UI 7 or later; Samsung points users to Link to Windows instead. A hub may still charge or expose data peripherals, but Samsung does not document a complete hub combination for this model, so keep that behavior unconfirmed.

Connect displays and power

DeX workspace

Open Quick Settings on the tablet and select DeX. Keep the work on the built-in display; an HDMI cable, dock socket or monitor does not remove Samsung's model exclusion.

Keyboard and pointer

Attach the exact Samsung keyboard cover through its POGO pins, or pair a supported Bluetooth keyboard/mouse. For USB input, test one device directly before introducing an unverified hub.

Windows Second Screen

On the tablet choose Second screen; on a compatible Windows 10 version 2004 or later PC press Windows+K and select the tablet. Extend or duplicate the PC display as needed.

Power

The tablet supports up to 45 W wired charging. Samsung supplies a USB-C data cable but sells the travel adapter separately; 45 W Super Fast Charging requires a suitable 45 W adapter and 5 A cable. Dock passthrough negotiation remains unconfirmed.

First recovery steps by symptom

The HDMI monitor stays blank

1. Stop replacing HDMI cables or docks: Samsung explicitly excludes the Tab S10 FE series from HDMI output.
2. Disconnect the unsupported video path and start standalone DeX on the tablet screen.
3. If a larger workspace is essential, use the documented Windows Second Screen direction or choose hardware with Samsung-documented external video support.

Wireless DeX or DeX for PC is missing

1. Treat missing Wireless DeX as expected for this model; Samsung excludes the Tab S10 FE series.
2. For a Windows connection, use Link to Windows on One UI 7 or later rather than looking for DeX for PC.
3. Do not confuse Second Screen with Wireless DeX: Second Screen turns the tablet into the PC's display.

Standalone DeX, input or charging misbehaves

1. Swipe down with two fingers and confirm the DeX control is active; tablet DeX can resemble the normal tablet interface.
2. Reseat the POGO keyboard cover or reconnect one Bluetooth/USB input without an intermediate hub.
3. For power, connect a Samsung-approved adapter directly to the wall and tablet, enable Fast charging in Battery settings, and inspect the USB-C port for moisture or debris before testing a hub again.

Still unknown: Samsung does not document full compatibility for a specific third-party dock or USB hub, combined Ethernet/audio/storage behavior, passthrough charging wattage, DisplayLink-class software adapters or field reliability on this model. USB-C connector shape and USB 2.0 data support are not video evidence. No physical Tab S10 FE, cover, hub or monitor was tested.
