Which dock options should you consider?
For Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, do not buy an HDMI dock or USB-C video adapter for an external monitor: Samsung explicitly excludes the FE+ from HDMI output and Wireless DeX. The useful documented desk is standalone DeX on the tablet's own 13.1-inch screen, paired with the exact EF-DX625 Book Cover Keyboard or EF-DX620 Book Cover Keyboard Slim that Samsung lists for this tablet. Samsung's Second Screen feature can instead make the tablet receive a Windows PC display, but it does not send the tablet's picture to a monitor. DeX for PC is also unavailable for the Tab S10 FE series on One UI 7 or later, and Samsung points to Link to Windows. Generic hubs may expose data peripherals or charging, but Samsung does not document a complete FE+ hub arrangement, so Ethernet, storage, audio and passthrough power remain unconfirmed.
Standalone DeX on the tablet
Samsung names Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ as supporting built-in DeX while separately excluding external HDMI and Wireless DeX.
Check first: Launch DeX from Quick Settings and work on the tablet panel. This is the supported desktop-style workspace, not an external-monitor connection.
EF-DX625 keyboard or EF-DX620 Keyboard Slim
Samsung's exact accessory pages list both keyboard-cover families for Galaxy Tab S10 FE+.
Check first: Match the complete accessory code and follow Samsung's attachment instructions. A keyboard cover does not add HDMI output, Wireless DeX or documented dock passthrough.
Second Screen or Link to Windows
Samsung documents Second Screen for receiving a Windows display and directs One UI 7+ devices to Link to Windows instead of DeX for PC.
Check first: Second Screen runs in the opposite direction from a video dock; treat both as PC workflows, not external-display compatibility for the tablet.
Connect displays and power
- DeX workspace
- Swipe down with two fingers, select DeX and keep the desktop on the built-in screen. No HDMI cable, dock output or USB-C socket changes Samsung's FE+ exclusion.
- Keyboard and pointer
- Attach the exact EF-DX625 or EF-DX620 cover according to Samsung's alignment instructions, or pair supported Bluetooth input devices. Test a single USB input directly before introducing an unverified hub.
- Windows Second Screen
- On the tablet choose Second screen; on a compatible Windows 10 version 2004 or later PC press Windows+K and select the tablet. The tablet receives the PC desktop.
- Power
- The FE+ supports up to 45 W wired charging. Samsung includes a 1 m USB-C data cable and sells the adapter separately; 45 W charging requires a suitable 45 W adapter and 5 A cable, and Samsung does not state that the included cable is 5 A.
- Direct charging path
- Connect the approved charger directly to the tablet's USB-C port when verifying power. Hub passthrough negotiation remains undocumented and is a separate question from keyboard-cover compatibility.
First recovery steps by symptom
An HDMI monitor stays blank
- Stop replacing HDMI cables or docks: Samsung explicitly excludes Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ from HDMI output.
- Disconnect the unsupported video route and start standalone DeX on the tablet screen.
- If a larger screen is essential, use the documented Windows Second Screen receiving direction or choose hardware with Samsung-documented external video output.
Wireless DeX or DeX for PC is missing
- Treat missing Wireless DeX as expected for this model rather than a dock failure.
- On One UI 7 or later, use Link to Windows for PC integration instead of searching for DeX for PC.
- Do not confuse Second Screen with Wireless DeX: Second Screen turns the tablet into the Windows PC's display.
Standalone DeX or the keyboard cover is not responding
- Swipe down with two fingers and confirm the DeX control is active; tablet DeX can resemble the standard tablet interface.
- Detach the cover, follow Samsung's alignment and attachment instructions again, then test the on-screen keyboard.
- Install applicable tablet updates and relaunch DeX before replacing the exact listed cover or changing unrelated dock hardware.
Charging is slow or absent
- Connect a Samsung-approved 45 W adapter and 5 A cable directly to the wall and tablet rather than through a hub.
- Check Battery > Charging settings, then reseat the cable and inspect the USB-C port for debris.
- If a moisture warning appears, disconnect power and wait until the port is dry before reconnecting; do not use hub behavior as proof of tablet charging capability.
Still unknown: Samsung does not document a compatible video dock because HDMI output is excluded. Exact generic USB-hub Ethernet, storage and audio support, simultaneous peripherals with charging, passthrough wattage, the included cable's amperage, DisplayLink-class software adapters, third-party dock firmware and field reliability remain unknown. No physical Tab S10 FE+ tablet, keyboard cover, hub, charger or monitor was tested.

Samsung excludes this FE tablet from wired HDMI output. An ordinary HDMI dock does not remove that limit.
