Before connecting

Up to 100 W advertised; 96 W certified. The front USB-C port serves accessories.

Use the intended powered-dock setup and host cable. Record each monitor’s input, resolution and refresh rate. Keep those requirements separate from the dock’s total port count.

Software changes the display path

Install the supported DisplayLink driver before relying on Display 2 or 3. A Mac needs the required Screen Recording permission, and a managed device may need IT approval. DisplayLink: Manager installation and scope · DisplayLink: macOS screen-recording permission

Bring the desk up one screen at a time

1. Connect the specified power supply to the dock.
2. Connect the laptop using rear usb-c host port.
3. Attach one screen on a listed video path and select its wired input.
4. Confirm the operating system recognizes that screen before adding another supported screen.
5. Select the required modes and an extended desktop where supported. Check charging, reconnecting and your essential applications.

A useful check when something fails

If Display 1 works while Display 2 and 3 are dark, check DisplayLink installation and Mac permission. If the software screens work but Display 1 does not, inspect the native USB-C video path and host cable.

Change one part of the arrangement at a time. Keep a note of the working monitor, cable and port so you can reproduce the result. If the remaining requirement has no documented answer, ask the manufacturer about the exact models instead of assuming the entire dock is defective.

Is it worth buying or replacing?

Match the physical output groups on the unit to the reviewed three-HDMI/three-DisplayPort version. Do not transfer this port map to an older revision with different sockets. Software approval and protected-video limits belong in the buying decision.
