Which dock options should you consider?
For Dell Latitude 5411, use WD22TB4 when a supported Thunderbolt desk and downstream Thunderbolt connectivity are useful, or WD19TB/TBS as the documented legacy Thunderbolt choice. For a simpler USB-C desk, Dell's exact matrix supports WD19/S only with the 180 W supply; the 130 W package is explicitly not supported because of the host's power requirement. WD19DC/DCS is a cautious reuse option, but connect only one of its two host leads—Dell footnote 1 does not authorize the dual-cable workstation mode. Do not substitute UD22 or HD22Q: their exact cells are negative. The notebook has one USB-C port carrying DisplayPort 1.4, Power Delivery and Thunderbolt, plus direct HDMI 2.0, and Dell offered 90 W and 130 W USB-C adapters. Those host facts help isolate cables and power, but the chosen dock's display table still sets the simultaneous monitor arrangement.
WD22TB4 or WD19TB/TBS
Dell's exact Latitude 5411 row marks both Thunderbolt families supported; WD22 is the newer modular path and WD19TB/TBS is useful managed reuse.
Check first: Use the dock's matching supply and supplied Thunderbolt host cable. Intersect the dock display table with the host configuration rather than promising a generic maximum.
WD19/S with 180 W supply
Dell supports this exact USB-C package and documents up to 130 W delivery to supported Dell systems from the 180 W dock supply.
Check first: Match the 180 W package; WD19/S with a 130 W supply is an explicit negative cell for Latitude 5411.
WD19DC/DCS — single-host-lead reuse
Dell marks the family supported with footnote 1 for this model, making it a reuse path when already deployed.
Check first: Connect only one host lead. Do not claim dual-cable 210 W delivery or attach both connectors; this is not a Precision dual-cable arrangement.
Connect displays and power
- Host connection
- Power the exact dock first, then attach its supplied host cable directly to the notebook's USB-C port with DisplayPort 1.4, Power Delivery and Thunderbolt.
- WD19DC/DCS exception
- Use one and only one of the two host leads. The exact matrix footnote qualifies compatibility and does not enable the dual-cable workstation power mode.
- First display
- Begin with one direct DisplayPort or HDMI cable from a documented dock output to a known-good FHD60 or 4K60 display, then select that input.
- Additional displays
- Add displays one at a time within the exact dock's simultaneous-output table. The host's DisplayPort 1.4 label alone does not prove dual 4K, DSC or a mixed-refresh pair.
- Power
- Dell lists 90 W barrel, 90 W USB-C and 130 W USB-C adapter configurations. Confirm the shipped configuration and dock package; use the original adapter as the direct-charge reference.
- Direct isolation
- Use notebook HDMI 2.0 to test one monitor and cable outside the dock. Direct success isolates the dock path but does not make an unsupported dock supported.
- Unsupported groups
- WD19/S with 130 W supply, UD22 and HD22Q remain unsupported in the exact row; separate notebook power does not reverse those negative cells.
First recovery steps by symptom
Nothing on the dock works
- Verify the exact dock model, matching supply and its power indicator, then disconnect all accessories.
- Reseat the supplied host cable directly in the notebook USB-C/Thunderbolt port.
- Prove one USB device before reconnecting Ethernet and displays.
USB works but the display is blank
- Reduce to one known-good display, select its input and use a direct dock DisplayPort or HDMI cable.
- Compare the same monitor and cable on notebook HDMI 2.0.
- If direct video works, update Latitude 5411 BIOS/graphics/Thunderbolt components and exact dock firmware before adding screens.
A slow-charge warning appears
- Confirm the dock package uses its required supply; for WD19/S, verify the 180 W rather than 130 W package.
- Remove extensions and high-draw accessories, then reconnect the powered dock.
- Compare with the original 90 W or 130 W Dell adapter and check BIOS adapter detection.
WD19DC/DCS behaves unpredictably
- Disconnect both host leads and dock power.
- Restore dock AC, then attach only one host lead directly to the notebook.
- Update dock firmware and rebuild the desk with one USB device and one display first.
One screen works but another does not
- Return both screens to FHD60 and remove converters.
- Add the second through another documented dock output after the first is stable.
- Check the exact dock display table, cable capability and host configuration instead of inferring from DisplayPort 1.4 alone.
Still unknown: The shipped 90 W or 130 W power configuration, installed graphics option, exact dock revision and supply, negotiated wattage, dock firmware, simultaneous-output table, DSC availability, monitor EDIDs, mixed resolution and refresh, HDR/color depth, cable or adapter capability, BIOS policy, sleep/wake stability and physical reliability remain unknown. Exact source rows and document scope
German source labels are translated as supported or not supported. A negative mark remains negative even when a footnote describes a power limitation. Missing entries are shown separately.

- Match the entire device name, including processor, generation and chassis variant.
- Record your screen models, inputs and intended resolutions and refresh rates.
- Confirm those screens work together through the proposed dock outputs.
- Check the supplied power adapter, laptop charging requirement and software permission.
