Connect the complete desk

  1. Install Plugable’s current supported DisplayLink software. On macOS, keep DisplayLink Manager running and allow Screen & System Audio Recording; update ChromeOS instead of adding a separate driver.
  2. Connect the supplied 130 W adapter and confirm dock power.
  3. Connect no more than two monitors using HDMI, DisplayPort, or one of each. Monitor cables are not listed in the box.
  4. Attach the included host cable to the labelled laptop / PD 100W port and a qualified computer USB-C port.
  5. Extend and arrange displays in the operating system, then test charging, Ethernet, USB, audio and card access separately.

Conflicts we do not smooth over

Plugable’s pages disagree about HDMI revision and host-port placement, and current macOS material qualifies older claims about HiDPI modes. We therefore state the manufacturer’s dual-4K60 result without inventing an HDMI version, identify the host port by its label, and do not promise Retina/HiDPI behavior. HDR, adaptive sync and sustained throughput remain unknown.
